I live in 'snowball country' on the east side of Lake Huron.  I get snow.  Lots of snow.  And it stays for a long time.  So I get to look at our perennial gardens during 'snow-time' and I can still see the green leaves of our hellebores, the red and yellow stems of dogwoods, the crisp light brown leaves still hanging on the branches of the beech trees, fallen frozen apples lying on the snow for the cottontail rabbits and wild turkeys, bittersweet fruit still attached to twisted vines, dried flower stalks on the butterfly bush and so much more.  And so, a garden of another season.  To be considered and appreciated.
