Blogging will be a new experience for me, and an odd one, since I'm more of a one-on-one conversationalist, so I'm going to presume that I'm still one-on-one and this blog is all about sharing what intrigues me, what's holding my attention.

I don't knit but used to enjoy watching my mother knit, particularly when she could do some complex pattern involving four needles and still watch television!  And I remember she'd put pins in an ongoing project and I'd ask her what they were for and she'd say . . . learn to knit and find out.  So when Rhichard showed me the HiyaHiya coloured safety pins for use as stitch markers, I was instantly filled with memories of things past and hoping to see these engaged.
