There's something about those early 20th Century detached town houses with more substantial front and back yards, with either a history of continual ownership by one family or a history of many owners, both equally loving and caring for the home that I find is one of the principal attractions for city-living because it's usually also about that sense of community that's so solidly based on those loved brick homes.
